August 15, 2009:  John Elway.  He's like a religious figure in Colorado.  While I was growing up, there were untold generations of dogs named Elway, Blue and Orange themed homes in every town, and game updates during Sunday service.  Seriously.  So, during a recent visit back home to Colorado, it came as no surprise when I entered the restroom of a fairly nice restaurant, and discovered this:

July 21, 2009:  Well, there's a strange combination for you!  I'm sure the sound quality is top notch, too.  I love how they used a Zune in the photo.  Apple probably said "uuuuh....no."  I own a Zune, and this made me sad.

July 8, 2009: 

"Mother!  Junior!  Come watch my new saw in action!"
"That's swell dear.  Don't you think Junior should wear some eye protection?"
"WHAT?!"
"Golly, Pop, that sure is noisy."
"WHAT?!"

This image came right out of the owner's manual for my vintage DeWalt radial arm saw.  The pictures don't lie, it came with the accessories to perform all of those tasks.  It was the Dremel of its day, for sure.  While I don't doubt their claims, I'm not about to use it for anything but cross-cuts.  I know, no sense of adventure.
